Crowne Plaza Leeds, an IHG Hotel

Sam at check in was superb! Friendly, helpful and efficient. He sorted out a second room for us across the hall. A lovely welcome to the hotel from Sam! The bar and restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Our rooms were also ready before the 3pm check in time which was very convenient after an early morning flight.

This hotel was everything we needed for a weekend in Leeds! Close to the train station + Leeds centre , but away from the noise + business . The staff were brilliant, so welcoming, friendly + helpful + created a relaxed environment. Being gluten + dairy intolerant the restaurant accommodated my needs so well, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was lovely + added to the enjoyment of our stay. Would highly recommend + will definitely book again if we return to Leeds.

I was very impressed with the room size and space. the hotel was very nice indeed. breakfast was reasonable. staff were very pleasant. only issue was that the bed could have been a bit larger for the size of the room. it felt cramped and the only other thing was the window didnt seal properly so it was noisy from the road and we were on floor 5. so i bet it was even noisier lower down. that said it was very nice and enjoyed our stay.

The room was fantastic and clean, great facilities, nice touch with a couple bottles of water being in the fridge, plenty of choice for the tea and coffee making facilities, bed comfortable and nice touches with the dressing gown and slippers in the wardrobe which were available to wear. The temperature control in the room was a bit temperamental so it was quite warm at times, but thats probably because i didn't know what i was doing with the temperature control system. The staff were exceptional, reception, bar and serving staff all fantastic. Loved the welcome drink on arrival at reception never had that even in hotels that were more expensive. Food and drinks were good also. Never felt uncomfortable even though it was my first time staying in a hotel by myself, everyone was very friendly. Also very comfortable seating areas all around the hotel including in the bar area.

The only down side was I had disability badge and was still charge to park in disabled bays. And then the other been my daughter was looking forward to the sauna upon booking I did ask at the spa and reception at hotel who knew my daughters age and advised the times open instead of my daughter couldn’t use the sauna or jacuzzi which is the only reason we booked. We live 10 mins drive from the hotel and was a little treat for my daughter but overall we Enjoyed our stay and will be back again for sure. The house steak in the restaurant was cooked perfect and so tasty. My daughter gave our stay 10 out of 10 so that’s the same from me. While ever she’s happy so am I. Thankyou
